Permits have been filed to demolish an existing single story retail space and construct a residential building on 2420-2424 Clement Street in Outer Richmond, San Francisco. The proposed structure is a four-story residential building with twelve group housing units. SIA Consulting Corporation is managing the project.

The project will transform the 2-unit single story shop with 1,700 square feet to 6,780 square feet of residential space across 7,100 square feet of gross area. Parking for 12 bicycles will be included on site. Common outdoor space will be available in the backyard and a rooftop balcony. Three units will find access to private balconies too, on the first and third floor.

The estimated cost of construction is $2,000,000. The neighborhood is a walker’s paradise with many restaurants and grocery stores nearby. This location serviced by MUNI lines like 1, 29, 38, and 38R. An estimated completion date has not been announced yet.
