Construction is underway for the four-story data center building at 2905 Stender Way in Santa Clara, Santa Clara County. The project is the ninth addition to CoreSite Real Estate’s Silicon Valley Campus.
Corgan is the project architect. The facade will be clad with aluminum composite panels, exterior glazing, and black panels along the ground level. The 85-foot tall structure will yield 246,600 square feet of office space and an onsite substation. A narrow surface parking lot will be included for 26 cars along the southern edge.
The 3.6-acre property is located along the Central Expressway between Stender Way and San Tomas Aquino Creek, near the new Amazon office at 3200 Scott Boulevard. Across the expressway is the 2018-finished NVIDIA corporate headquarters designed by Gensler. Demolition was required for three existing single-story buildings.
CoreSite Real Estate is a Denver-based technology infrastructure company with data center campuses nationwide, including Boston, Chicago, Florida, Los Angeles, New York, and Washington, DC.
