A preliminary project application has been submitted seeking the approval of subdivision proposed for a lot at 888 Union Street in Russian Hill, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the development of a new three-story-over-basement building offering three residential dwellings. Plans call for the demolition of the existing single-story parking garage structure on the site.
Gentle Sky LLC is the project applicant. TJH Construction is responsible for the designs.
The project site is a single parcel spanning an area of 5,326 square feet. The scope of work includes the subdivision of the lot and redevelopment of the new lot with a three-story-over-basement building consisting of three residential condominium housing units. The housing units will be designed as two-bedroom floor plans.
The residential building will yield a total built-up area spanning 4,010 square feet. Usable open space will measure 600 square feet. Parking will be provided for three vehicles and three bicycles on the site.
A project application has been submitted, pending review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
