A new residential project has been proposed for development at 5372 Young Street in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the development of a new apartment building offering four units. The proposal will replace a vacant parcel near a recently renovated strip mall, several shops, and the Mark Twain School.

The project applicant is not specified. Advanced Design Group Engineering will be overseeing the design and engineering.

The project site spans an area of 0.12 acres. The scope of work includes the development of a four-unit residential infill building rising two stories high. The apartment complex will yield a total built-up area measuring 4,000 square feet. Unit sizes will be around 1,000 square feet, with two units per floor. Each unit will have two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

As previously covered, the facade materials will include stucco, wood trim, and synthetic tiling along the hipped gable roof. Wrapped around the residential spaces will be a landscaped open yard with pathways and an outdoor picnic table. Surface parking will be created facing Young Street.

A project application has been submitted, pending review and approval. The project site is located near Stockton Boulevard and Fruitridge Road in southern Sacramento.
