The Walnut Creek Design Review Commission is scheduled to review plans tomorrow evening for a senior living facility at 1350 Montego Way in Walnut Creek, Contra Costa County. The project, dubbed the Ivy Residential Care Facility, will replace a commercial office complex with a hundred units. O & I Development is the project sponsor and property owner.

The roughly 41-foot-tall structure is expected to total about 75,750 square feet, including about 64,800 square feet of housing. Surface parking will include 82 cars, with additional storage for 100 bicycles. The ground floor will include a mix of apartments and amenities, including a lobby, alcove, dining room, and a central open-air courtyard.
Idaho-based B.Hills Architecture is responsible for the design. The podium-style facade will include stone, faux-wood, and stucco. Gates Studio is overseeing the landscape architecture. The estimated cost and construction timeline have not yet been shared.
