Plans to replace Natomas Sports Club gym move ahead as new permits have been filed seeking the approval of an apartment community at 2450 Natomas Park Drive in South Natomas, Sacramento. The project proposal includes the demolition of the gym and the construction of a residential complex.
Demmon Partners is the project developer. LPAS Architecture + Design is managing the design concepts and construction.
The project site is a 9.06-acre parcel. Named Sutter Green 2.0 Apartments, the residential project will bring ten buildings featuring 190 market-rate dwelling units. The total built-up area measures 1,69,847 square feet. The garden-style community will offer apartments as a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom units in a series of three-story wood-frame buildings. Each building will have multiple garages on the ground floor. On-site amenities include a clubhouse with a pool, a pet spa, a fitness center, and an outdoor gathering area for the residents. Landscaped spaces, a dog park, and a bike trail will also be developed.
The City Planning Commission will review the design and site plan. The cost of construction is $46 million. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
The property site is near Natomas Park Drive on the South and West El Camino Avenue on the North.
