The City of Menlo Park has opened up applications for the development of three large parking plazas in Downtown Menlo Park. The city plans to build a minimum of 345 units of affordable housing spread across the three sites but has not restricted the addition of more units. The program plans to integrate affordable housing options into the high-resource downtown area.
The Mountain View Planning Commission has approved plans for a six-story affordable housing project with over a hundred homes at 1020 Terra Bella Avenue in Mountain View, Santa Clara County. The plans will reshape a portion of a storage facility by Highway 101. Alta Housing is the project sponsor and developer.
New renderings have been revealed for the five-story affordable housing proposal on Mountain View’s Lot 12 at 1265 Montecito Avenue, Santa Clara County. The project will transform a city-owned vacant building into 120 new homes for residents earning between 30-60% of the Area Median Income. Palo Alto-based Alta Housing has topped out for a 100 percent affordable housing project at 950 West El Camino Real, in Mountain View.
