The seventh tallest tower in the Bay Area built or planned is 345 California Street, a mixed-use skyscraper in the heart of San Francisco’s Financial District. The building opened in 1986, adding office space to the commercial market, and the Mandarin Oriental hotel once occupied the top eleven floors. When completed, it was the third tallest in the Bay Area with a rooftop height of 725 feet.

Salesforce West, a 600-foot office tower in SoMa, San Francisco, is tied as the 13th tallest skyscraper in the Bay Area planned or built. Located at 50 Fremont Center, the building rises to the same height as 101 California Street and the proposed height of 53 3rd Street. Originally developed by Fremont Properties, the structure has been branded as Salesforce West since the software company acquired the property in 2015 for $637.6 million.

The 30th tallest tower planned or built in the Bay Area is One Montgomery Tower at 120 Kearny Street in San Francisco’s Financial District. The 500-foot office building was erected in 1982, adding 801,720 square feet of new floor area to the downtown. Cushman and Wakefield, the prominent global commercial real estate services firm, is managing the office space.
