Draft EIR Available for SuZaCo Mixed-Use Project, Downtown San Jose

The Draft Environmental Impact Report has been published for Suzaco, a six-story commercial infill proposed across from City Hall and the new Miro towers in Downtown San Jose. The project will retain the historic facade at 142-150 East Santa Clara Street while constructing a four- to six-story mixed-use building on a U-shaped plot of land. Bayview Development Group is the project developer.

Meeting Today for SuZaCo Development at 17 South Fourth Street, Downtown San Jose

The San Jose Historic Landmark Commission’s Design Review Committee is meeting today to review plans for the three-parcel development at 17 South Fourth Street in Downtown San Jose. The project, called SuZaCo, will build glass-clad cross-laminated timber office buildings on and around the ornate two-story State Meat Market Building. San Jose-based Bayview Development Group, responsible for the nearly-complete residential Miro towers adjacent to SuZaCo, is the project developer.

Permits have been filed for a striking new office building at 17 South Fourth Street in Downtown San Jose. The project, tentatively called SuZaCo, will build glass-clad cross-laminated timber office buildings on and around the reused ornate two-story State Meat Market Building. San Jose-based Bayview Development Group, behind the residential Miro towers adjacent to SuZaCo, is the project developer.
