Developers will be presenting the preliminary design review for the 845,590 square foot research campus at 600 Addison Street later tonight to the Berkeley Design Review Committee. The project will add a new campus for medical research in the Southwest Berkeley neighborhood, overlooking Aquatic Park. Lane Partners and LB2 Partners are developing as a joint venture.
Berkeley’s Design Review Committee is expected to approve a new three-story medical facility at 800 Dwight Way, just blocks from the waterfront Aquatic Park in industrial Southwest Berkeley. The project, dubbed Building 69, is to house phases two and three of Bayer’s Cell Culture Technology Center. PM Group is responsible for the design and project management.
New building and demolition permits have been filed for a substantial six-story residential building at 3000 San Pablo Avenue in Southwest Berkeley. These permits come just five months after the city council approved development plans. Read Investments is responsible as the property owner and developer.
