Permits have been filed for a new four-story apartment infill at 345-349 3rd Avenue in San Francisco’s Inner Richmond. The plans will demolish an existing 1898-built three-story home. Schaub Li Architects is sponsoring the project on behalf of the property owner, Diana Y. Chou.
Construction has topped out less than a year after the groundbreaking for the seven-story affordable senior housing complex at 4200 Geary Boulevard in San Francisco’s Richmond District. The project will add nearly a hundred homes to the busy neighborhood. The Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation is the project developer.
New permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use development at 311 9th Avenue in San Francisco’s Inner Richmond district. The plan aims to create two homes and retail one block from Geary Boulevard. Raymond Zhong is listed as the property owner.
Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential project proposed for development at 50 Beaumont Avenue in Inner Richmond, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of two-family, four-story building. Plans call for the demolition of two existing dwelling structures.
James Dixon Architect (JDA) is responsible for the designs.
The project will bring a four-story residential building with two dwelling units, designed on spread footings and piers. The residential building will yield a total built-up area spanning 5,267 square feet. A garage spanning an area of 628 square feet, featuring two parking spaces, will also be developed on the site. Open space spanning 700 square feet will also be designed. Two bicycle storage spaces will be provided on the site. Both new units will be protected units under SB330 & SB8. The cost of construction is estimated at $2,500,000.
Wednesday was busy for San Francisco’s senior housing non-profit Self-Help for the Elderly. In the evening, SHE had scheduled their first community outreach regarding over two hundred affordable senior homes proposed along Ocean Beach in the Sunset. During the day, Mayor London Breed announced the acquisition of 933 Clement Street in the Richmond District for SHE to convert into affordable senior housing and a community dining space.
