Less Ambitious Plans Approved for 14001 Chester Avenue Vineyard Site in Saratoga

The previous plan for 14001 Chester Avenue in Saratoga has been downsized from its original plan reported on by SF YIMBY in June of last year. The purchasers, Thomas J. Wilson, Dustin T. Mannina, Sachneel Patel, and Jeffrey Bader, originally planned to use a builders’ remedy application to create a large-scale development on the former vineyard site. However, the project has since struck a deal with the city of Saratoga to modify the project so it fits within the existing zoning regulations.

Purchasers Thomas J. Wilson, Dustin T. Mannina, Sachneel Patel, and Jeffrey Bader have jumped in on a plan to transform a Saratoga vineyard into a large-scale housing development. The group of South Bay business executives paid $30.6 million for the 11.6-acre property near the corner of Chester Avenue and Allendale Drive.

The project proposal includes the development of a residential community offering 22 residences. Miller Judith L Trustee is listed as the owner. Balanced Success is listed as the project applicant.

Formal Application for Mountain Winery Redevelopment in Saratoga

Formal permits have been submitted for Encore Estates, the builder’s remedy-assisted plans to add hundreds of homes and an 81-room hotel at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, Santa Clara County. Alongside new housing, the project will add a clubhouse, gatehouse, and additional parking to the historic winery and concert venue. William Hirschman of Lexor Builders is responsible for the application.

Plans for Single-Family Homes along Congress Springs Road, Saratoga

Two pre-applications have been filed for suburban infill in the mountainous portion of Saratoga, Santa Clara County. The project would bring 15 single-family homes in the hills close to Skyline Boulevard. Brent Lee and I-Fang Liu are listed as the property owners.

Preliminary Permits Filed for Mountain Winery Redevelopment in Saratoga

Preliminary permits were submitted earlier this month for a potential mixed-use development at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, Santa Clara County. The filing would add hundreds of homes and a hotel next to the historic vineyard and concert venue. Lexor Investment is the project applicant operating through Chateau Masson LLC.
