New building permits have been filed for a seven-unit residential building at 2841 Tradewind Court in Alameda’s Bay37 development. The 7-plex will contribute to as many as 400 units on a waterfront 22.8-acre property site looking over Oakland’s Jack London Square. Pulte Homes is responsible for the development.
The three-story building will yield 10,410 square feet, of which 7,620 square feet will be for dwelling purposes, and 2,140 square feet is for garage and utilities. Residences will average 1,090 square feet, including private porches and decks.
Permits state that the 2841 Tradewind permit will be a part of the Lookout district, one of four distinct portions of the project. The Lookout at Bay37 units will average with two bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and parking available ranging from zero to two. The largest residencies will be in Breeze at Bay37, where three-story single-family houses will offer four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and parking for two vehicles in each structure. The building will cost $1.87 million to put together, equivalent to $267,000 per unit.
The development will include 5.43 acres of new public access. This consists of a wide semi-circular plaza with seating connected to a 90-foot wide and 1,400-foot long promenade.
Construction has already begun for the Bay37 development, with sales projected to open by the summer.
