A preliminary application has been filed for a townhome project located at 2015 Grand Street in Alameda. The project proposal includes the redevelopment of a site to construct townhomes on a site that formerly housed a Pennzoil store.

Pennzoil Products Company is the property owner. Trumark Homes is the project developer. KTGY Architecture + Planning is responsible for the design concepts.

The project proposes to bring 90 townhomes, offered as a mix of two-bedroom and three-bedroom residences. The floor plans will range from 1600 square feet to 2000 square feet in size. A piece of the parcel spanning an area of 40 feet by 115 feet will be developed into an onsite parking facility. Each townhouse will have a private two-car garage, and all garages will be accessed by alleys located at the rear of the buildings.

The townhome complex will feature pedestrian paseos and a pocket park. The townhomes showcase contemporary architecture, with decorative elements inspired by Art Deco. The exterior is expressed in cream-colored stucco finish with colorful bay windows and front doors.
