New leasing options are now up for grabs at the Salesforce West tower, located at 50 Fremont Street, SoMa, San Francisco. It was recently announced that nearly half of the spaces would become available for office use by the end of this year. The office spaces will become available starting as early as August 1 and continuing until December 1.
Real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield is managing the leasing offer.
The Salesforce West tower spans an area of 817,000-square feet. The tech giant has listed 412,600 square feet of office space available for renting at its tower located in SoMa. Floors offering office spaces span an average of 20,000 square feet each. Onsite amenities are inclusive of restaurants, retail stores, outdoor plaza, vehicle and bicycle parking, and EV charging stations. The structure has also been awarded LEED Platinum certification.
Salesforce West is one of the Salesforce properties near the Salesforce Transit Center in SoMa. It was constructed between 1983 to 1985, offering 43 stories with 817,400 square feet of rentable office space and onsite parking for 220 vehicles. Originally developed by Fremont Properties, the structure has been rebranded as Salesforce West since the software company acquired the property in 2015 for $637.6 million.
The building facade rises to a height of 600 feet and is the 13th tallest skyscraper in the bay area. Commuters can easily access BART and Muni, with Caltrain a mile and a half away.

To be clear, Salesforce does not own the building. The tower is owned by Boston Properties.
The property in question, Salesforce West, is actually owned by Salesforce. Boston Properties owns the Salesforce Tower building.
