Development permits were submitted seeking the approval of a residential project at 8105 Delta Shores in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of a new large-scale apartment complex featuring 8-9 buildings offering 200+ apartments.
Seattle-based Russell Square Consulting is the project developer. Jackson Square Properties is the project owner upon completion. Dahlin Group is responsible for the designs.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 8.56 acres. The new apartment complex will yield a total built-up area spanning 373,031 square feet. The apartment complex will offer 235 units distributed within 8-9 building rising three-four stories high. The residential buildings will be constructed around a central amenity building. The apartments will be designed as a mix of 113 one-bedrooms, 99 two-bedrooms, and 23 three-bedrooms. Onsite amenities include a fitness center, prep kitchen, work spaces, and a community gathering hall. The amenity building will also have a pool with cabanas and restrooms. Additionally, the complex will feature a dog park, shade structures, benches, and landscaped lawns. Plans show parking available for 402 vehicles and 113 long-term and short-term bike storage.
The project applications request site plan and design reviews for the proposed project. The scope of this project encompasses the acquisition, planning, entitlement process, as well as the oversight of design development and construction for the intended future building. The design development phase will focus on refining the design concept, reviewing and approving architectural drawings, coordinating with consultants, and establishing project schedules and budgets. Finally, during the construction oversight stage, contractors and subcontractors will be evaluated and selected, progress will be monitored for compliance, site visits and inspections will be conducted, and communication will be facilitated between all stakeholders.
Permits were filed earlier in July, and a project review meeting has been scheduled, requesting site plan and design review. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.

Wonderful and full of excitement news every day’s happening here at Sacramento which we ( first generation of migrants from BURMA ) have been chose as our first ever permanent residence home land except other then our native country BURMA. Which means a lot to us because of we been moved around in US cities many times, many places and a few were meant to be home but couldn’t substantiate as our wishes due to many factors including business, safety, supporting socially or helping family issues. But those these city is surprisingly very warm, easy and very welcoming with genuinely good people who are very supportive each other and State had been creating great programs, projects and community first public policy initiatives were being made as strong foundations. Which there are Not just praising but we have been seeing of other States that how well they have been working for their own people of residents.
Again thank you so much for your support as very humanly kindness and these are real, truthful from ours very humbly appreciate words. And these are just not my family but from the Burman community of Sacramento, who are already made up HOME for good 30 plus years of loyal residents, citizens.
Thanks …🙏🙏🙏
MaungMaung and Htar brothers.
I was told that this would be for seniors. What, has everyone forgot about retired and able bodied seniors with limited income.
When is a complex going to be built for us.
