Development permits have been filed for a residential project proposed for development at 2222 Carroll Street, Ivy Hill, Oakland. The project proposal includes the construction of a six-story multi-family building offering residential units and onsite parking.

2222 Carroll St LLC is listed as the project applicant and owner.

The project site is a vacant parcel spanning an area of 5,458 square foot. The scope of work includes the construction of a six-story multi-family building offering nine units. Out of the total, eight units will be offered at market rate along with one affordable unit. The project will offer four off-street parking spaces along with 12 bicycle parking spots. The residential units are proposed as a mix of two one-bedroom units, four two-bedroom units, and three three-bedroom units.

Open landscaped area spanning 435 square feet has been proposed as well.

The project seeks density bonus for one unit and waiver from rear yard setback requirement. As proposed, project is not eligible for by-right approval. A tree permit is required to preserve one tree within 10 feet of proposed construction activity.

A project application has been submitted, and design review has been requested. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
