Plans are moving forward for a housing development at 5429 Marconi Avenue in Carmichael, an unincorporated area of Sacramento County. The application has cleared through the environmental review process, green-lighting the development of 77 apartments across four buildings. Borole Construction is the project developer.

The development will produce four buildings, three containing 19 units and one containing 17 units. Residential amenities will include a fitness center, clubhouse, barbecue area, and pool deck. Parking will be included for 147 cars and 82 bicycles.
Tangent Design & Engineering is the project architect. Illustrations show four nearly identical three-story buildings with some balconies and facade articulation.
The approximately 2.3-acre property is situated along Marconi Avenue, between Walnut Avenue and Garfield Avenue. Carmichael is an unincorporated census-designated place outside of Sacramento, with a population of around 80,000 people.

Demolition will be required for an existing single-family house, built in 1941. The estimated cost and timeline for construction have yet to be shared.
