Permits were filed earlier this month for the demolition of existing structures at 658 Lisbon Street in San Francisco, to be followed by the construction of a new three-story residence on the site. The new structure would be both larger in height and square footage than the existing property.
Designs for the property are being brought by RDK Consulting. Initial drawings show a terraced building massing, with three stories at the front of the structure, reducing to two stories, then one story deeper in the property. The new building will include several usable outdoor spaces, including terraces and a rear yard.

The unit is designated as a three-bedroom market-rate unit, and the building is classified as a single-family residence. This design and density are consistent with the other buildings in the surrounding Excelsior neighborhood. Future residents will benefit from a quiet neighborhood atmosphere, while still only a short walk from transportation and businesses along Mission Street.

Someone has been playing a little too much Minecraft. That design? Oof.
Agreed. You get to build a brand new house from scratch, and this is the best you can do? A wasted opportunity, if you ask me.
