The project would include approximately 250,000 square feet of residential floor area across 17 three-story multi-unit buildings. The development will offer 112 for-sale condominiums, including 97 three-bedroom units and 15 four-bedroom units. Of the 112 residences, 17 will be deed-restricted as affordable moderate-income housing. Parking will be included for 230 cars.

SDG Architects is responsible for the design. Illustrations show the 17 structures will each have a nearly identical design with some facade articulation, vertical wood siding, and stucco finish. The development invokes Senate Bill 330 and the State Density Bonus law to streamline the approval process and increase residential capacity.

The 4.9-acre property is located at the corner of Walnut Street and Veterans Boulevard, close to a waterway that flows into Redwood Creek. Future residents will be right across from the city’s urban core, 15 minutes away from the Redwood City Caltrain Station on foot, or four minutes by bicycle. The estimated cost and timeline for construction have not yet been shared.
