Renderings have been published along with CEQA review Notice of Determination for Home2 Suites by Hilton hotel at 2112 Loveridge Road in Pittsburg, an industrial suburb of Contra Costa County. Construction will bring 115 new guest rooms to the city. Platinum Hospitality Inc, based in Santa Rosa, is the owner.
According to the Notice of Determination, the construction of the hotel will not have a significant effect on the environment. The Mitigated Negative Declaration has been adopted by the California Environmental Quality Act, or CEQA.

The 52-foot tall structure will yield 62,840 square feet, covering 16.85% of the 2.09-acre lot. Surface parking will be included for 120 vehicles. Amenities will include guest laundry, a fitness center, breakfast room, public restroom, and guest lobby. As well, there will be an open-air pool at ground level connected to lounging space, seating, and outdoor dining facilities.
I & A Architects will be the architect, while Ark Studio will be the project coordinator. Architectural features will be minimal, maintaining a streamlined contemporary aesthetic. Facade materials will include cement fiberboards, aluminum cladding, a steel canopy, and painted stucco.

Blackpoint Properties is the project applicant. Ripley Design will be responsible for landscape architecture, and Haddox Consulting Engineers will be the civil engineers. Demolition will not be required as the property is currently vacant.
The area around 2112 Loveridge Road is serviced by Tri-Delta Transit buses. Guests of the hotel will be across from a strip mall currently occupied by a chain department store, smaller retail shops, food, and a gas station.

Home2 Suites is a Hilton-owned hotel brand, competing with sustainable Extended Stay hotels nationally. Founded in 2009, around 384 Home2 Suites by Hilton hotels across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Construction is expected to last 12 months from groundbreaking to completion, with the estimated cost not yet revealed.
