Entitlements are under review for a proposed mixed-use at 660 University Avenue in Palo Alto. The project proposal includes the development of a planned community to combine three parcels into one to construct a new four-story mixed-use building offering residential and office spaces. The site currently houses a two-story office building spanning an area of 9,216 square feet which will be demolished.
Smith Development is the project developer. KSH Architects is responsible for the design concepts. The Guzzardo Partnership Inc is the landscape architect.
The property site is a parcel combining three parcels to construct a new mixed-use building offering 70 residential units and office space. The residential units will be offered as a mix of 56 studios, six one-bedroom, and eight two-bedroom units. The residential built-up area totals 42,981 square feet. The building will feature office space measuring an area of 9,115 square feet on the ground floor.
A two-level below-grade parking garage will be constructed on the site.
The property site is located along the south side of University Avenue, between Byron Street and Middlefield.
