Updated plans have been filed for multi-family housing on a vacant lot along Wallace Street by 24th Street and 19th Avenue in Oakland, Alameda County. The project will bring three units to the Highland Terrace neighborhood. Studio Thai LLC is listed as the project applicant and architect.

The latest filing shows renewed interest in a years-old plan from the same property owner and architect team. The plans describe a three-story building to contain over three thousand square feet, including three apartments and a two-car garage along Wallace Street.

Studio Thai is a San Mateo-based architecture firm responsible for the design. New illustrations have not been shared, though the previous application shows a familiar contemporary design featuring an asymmetrical gable roof and expansive terraces forming a series of setbacks created as the structure conforms to the steep land.

The 0.13-acre property is located along Wallace Street between East 24th Street and 19th Avenue and parallel to the 14th Avenue thoroughfare. The Highland Hospital campus is one block away.

Mowbray Construction is listed as the property owner of the subject property and the next-door lot, addressed as 2600 Wallace Street. The estimated timeline for construction has yet to be established.
