Preliminary permits have been filed for a new residential infill project at 10625 South Foothill Boulevard by the Santa Cruz mountain range in Cupertino, Santa Clara County. The proposal looks to replace a vacant lot with 29 dwelling units. Los Gatos-based SCR Enterprises LLC is listed as the property owner.
The preliminary application invokes Senate Bill 330 to streamline the approval process. Beyond details about the unit count, further information has yet to be shared about the development. Given the potential density and housing types in the area, the property is likely to be transformed into townhouse-style condominiums.

The owners at SCR Enterprise LLC had previously pursued a plan for 18 units across the 1.57-acre lot. The previous application, known as Canyon Crossing, was drafted by LPMD Architects, including a five-unit apartment complex, eight townhomes, and five single-family homes. The site had formerly been occupied by three structures, including a bike shop and a low-slung strip mall. The area was demolished sometime after 2022.

Future residents would move into an area close to the Stevens Canyon Reservoir and open space, two golf courses, public schools, though few retail options. The estimated cost and timeline for construction of the newest application have yet to be shared, although the previous iteration was expected to take under a year to complete, from groundbreaking to completion.
