Formal plans have been filed for a townhouse development at 10268 Bandley Drive in Cupertino, Santa Clara County. The application looks to replace a single-story commercial structure with 27 three-story townhome units. Summerhill Homes is responsible for the proposal.
William Hezmalhalch Architects is responsible for the design. Plans call for four structures across the property, surrounded by the internal street network and private garages. Illustrations show a contemporary-style aesthetic for the buildings, with boxy facade articulation and balcony setbacks.

The application invokes Senate Bill 330 to streamline the approval process. Of the 27 units, five will be deed-restricted for affordable housing for median- and moderate-income households. The project will include three to four-bedroom apartments available for ownership. The development agreement is expected to secure $1.3 million for parks, and just over a quarter of a million dollars for school fees.
The 1.55-acre property is located along Bandley Drive on a block bound by Lazaneo Drive, Mariani Avenue, and North De Anza Boulevard.

The estimated cost and timeline for construction have not yet been shared. The project was recently reviewed by the Planning Commission in mid-May and will be reviewed by the Cupertino City Council tomorrow, June 2nd.
