The Santa Clara Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans tomorrow evening for a downscaled component at 1816 Worthington Circle within the Agrihood project in Santa Clara, Santa Clara County. The application now seeks to add 44 townhomes to a site previously approved for a 16-unit multi-family apartment complex. The Core Companies is responsible for the development.

The proposal will add five structures, each rising around 41 feet tall and having three floors. Of the 44 residences, apartment sizes will include 34 two-bedroom units and 10 three-bedroom units. Parking will include 88 cars and 44 bicycles.
Steinberg Hart is responsible for the design. Illustrations show a unified aesthetic across the new townhouse component, with familiar articulated facades clad with cement plaster and metal roofing.

The 1.8-acre property is located within the Agrihood master plan across from the Valley Fair shopping center and two blocks from the Santana Row open mall. The estimated cost and timeline for construction have not yet been shared.
