Preliminary plans have surfaced to replace the 1200 La Playa Street gas station with housing in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset. The site is next to Ocean Beach, the iconic Murphy Windmill by Golden Gate Park’s southwest corner, and a future senior housing development. The applicant has submitted three variants for the city to consider in a requested project review meeting.
Development permits have been submitted seeking the approval of a hotel to housing project proposed for development at 50 8th Street in South of Market (SoMa), San Francisco. The project proposal includes the conversion of some hotel rooms of a tourist hotel into group housing rooms New Civic Company LTD is the project sponsor.
Permits have been filed for a residential addition to 1825 28th Street in Oak Tree, Oakland. The site sits on a large block bordered by 16th Street and Foothill boulevard. While there is a nearby rail connection, a bus route runs along Foothill Boulevard and can take riders to rail stations and other transit routes.
