Preliminary permits have been filed for a residential infill at 1956 Great Highway in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset neighborhood. The proposal would bring four additional units to the city across from Ocean Beach and the Sunset Dunes public park. Hexagon Permit Services is responsible for the application.

The overall scale for the proposal remains unchanged since our previous coverage, including 199 rental apartments across an eight-story residential building and a single-story adult day health care center. Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation and Self-Help For The Elderly are joint developers.

The 100% affordable units are designated as a community for educators working in San Francisco, with the goal of making housing more accessible within the city limits.
Plans are pivoting once again for 2700 Sloat Boulevard in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset neighborhood. The latest filing could create nearly seven hundred units of affordable housing, along with a potential ground-floor grocery store and public parking, across from the city’s zoo and close to Ocean Beach. Raelynn Hickey of Nevada-based CH Planning LLC is once more responsible for the application.
