The 19th tallest skyscraper in the Bay Area planned or built is One Embarcadero Center. One Embarcadero Center is the western-most of four look-a-like office buildings that have been a defining feature of San Francisco’s Financial District skyline since it was first erected in 1971. The mixed-use Embarcadero Center project was submitted to the city by David Rockefeller, John Portman, and Trammel-Crow.

Extensive Renderings Published For 447 Almaden Boulevard, Downtown San Jose Ahead of Meeting

The proposal for a 282-foot tall mixed-use development at 447 Almaden Boulevard in Downtown San Jose is expected to be reviewed in tonight’s Planning Commission hearing. The project would total over two million square feet, including offices, retail, and amenities. Along with the review of the South Almaden Offices, the fifth resubmission for the project is paired with a treasure-trove of renderings that give an all-encompassing impression of the future block. Boston Properties is responsible for the development as the project owner.

Permits for 777 Harrison Street after Sale for $140 Million, SoMa, San Francisco

Recent permits show activity for the fifteen-story mixed-use project at 777 Harrison Street, also known as 725 Harrison Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The project is led by Boston Properties, the same developers behind the Salesforce Tower. They were joint owners with Barrett Block Partners before completing an acquisition in June of 2020 for $140.1 million. The city unanimously approved 777 Harrison in late 2019, making way for over three-quarters million square feet of office space and 144 affordable housing units.
