Pre-Application Permits Filed for Bayshore Tech Park Expansion, Redwood City

Longfellow Real Estate Partners are planning to redevelop the Bayshore Tech Park office complex into a mixed-use district with 19 new structures for life sciences, offices, vehicle parking, and a 150-key hotel. Pre-application permits reveal the extent of the plan to reimagine the 84-acre property between Belmont Slough and Marine Parkway in a project dubbed Redwood LIFE. The project is split between four parcels at 800, 1400, 1600, and 3400 Bridge Parkway in Redwood City, San Mateo County. HOK is the project architect.

Facebook and Signature Release New Renderings of Willow Village, Menlo Park

Facebook and Signature Development Group have announced that they have submitted newly detailed planning documents for their proposed mixed-use district dubbed Willow Village in Menlo Park, San Mateo County. The proposal will cover nearly 60 acres with a mixture of housing, office space, retail, and public parks. Two phases of construction will yield over 3.3 million square feet of built area. OMA, one of the most influential architecture firms still active, is responsible for the design.

Permits for 777 Harrison Street after Sale for $140 Million, SoMa, San Francisco

Recent permits show activity for the fifteen-story mixed-use project at 777 Harrison Street, also known as 725 Harrison Street in SoMa, San Francisco. The project is led by Boston Properties, the same developers behind the Salesforce Tower. They were joint owners with Barrett Block Partners before completing an acquisition in June of 2020 for $140.1 million. The city unanimously approved 777 Harrison in late 2019, making way for over three-quarters million square feet of office space and 144 affordable housing units.
