Just two years after the Macy’s shopping mall was demolished in the center of Downtown Sunnyvale, construction has moved fast for phase two. A recent site visit by YIMBY has shown two seven-story offices and the twelve-story apartment complex have topped out, with facade installation underway. Hunter Properties and Sares Regis Group are jointly responsible for the project, part of the 36-acre Cityline Sunnyvale master plan.
New high-resolution renderings have been revealed for the proposed six-story office building at 300 South Mathilda Avenue in Sunnyvale. The project is part of the city-altering CityLine Sunnyvale development that is bringing housing, offices, retail, and a new public park to Santa Clara County’s second most populous city. The project is being led by STC Venture LLC, a joint venture with Hunter Properties and Sares Regis Group.
Building permits have been filed for 350 Chastain Place, a seven-story residential building in Gateway Crossings, Santa Clara. The 407-unit permit is for the first building in Gateway Crossings, a five-structure proposal with housing, retail, public open space, and a new hotel across from the San Jose International Airport and Santa Clara Caltrain/future BART Station. Holland Partner Group is responsible for the development after leasing the property from Hunter Properties.
Permits were filed seeking the approval of a new five-story mixed-use building on 1205 Coleman Avenue in Santa Clara. The project proposal includes constructing a multi-family apartment complex that will also offer retail space and amenities. A two-story above-grade parking garage is also included.
Hunter Storm and Holland Partner Group have teamed up to develop the massive project. MVE+Partners Inc is managing the construction. TOD Brokaw LLC is the proper owner.
The City of Sunnyvale has approved development plans for the construction of a 479-unit two-building project at 200 South Taaffe Street in Sunnyvale. The special development permit makes a significant step toward construction, ensuring that the existing environmental impact report is sufficient. The structure will be the final phase for the Cityline Sunnyvale project. STC Venture LLC, a joint venture between J.P. Morgan, Hunter Properties, and Sares Regis Group, is responsible for the development.
