New Plans for Affordable Housing at 1271 East Julian Street, San Jose

New permits have been filed to replace two single-family homes at 1271 and 1279 East Julian Street with just over three hundred units of fully affordable housing. The updated filing has more than doubled the dwelling count for the proposal in the Five Wounds neighborhood in San Jose, close to the planned 28th Street/Little Portugal BART Station. Integrated Community Development is the project sponsor.

Alliant Invests $30 Million for Kawana Springs, Santa Rosa, Sonoma County

Alliant Capital has announced the $30 million investment has closed, progressing plans to build the 151-unit affordable housing project at 450 Kawana Springs Road in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County. The 60-foot project will bring a new hub of medium-high density residential living immediately opposite the large Santa Rosa Market Place shopping center inside the Mendocino / Santa Rosa Avenue Priority Development Area. Kawana Springs also provides housing for residents displaced by the 2017 wildfires.
