Affordable Housing Breaks Ground At 36 Amber Drive, Diamond Heights, San Francisco

Celebrating with her city, Mayor London Breed announced the recent news of groundbreaking for an affordable housing project at 36 Amber Drive in Diamond Heights, San Francisco. The project will offer eight dwellings, available for purchase for low- to moderate-income families. The project is the first City-sponsored affordable housing partnership with Habitat for Humanity. The Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD) is the project developer. Kerman Morris Architects is responsible for the design concepts and construction.

The development is poised to create mid-density housing for people experiencing homelessness once opened in the central business district with access to transit, retail, and job opportunity. The Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development, Mercy Housing, and the Episcopal Community Services have partnered together for the development.
