Demolition permits have been filed for the existing single-story commercial structure at 1567 California Street in Polk Gulch, San Francisco. The property is expected to be replaced by a nine-story mixed-use infill with housing and new retail space along the street. David Baker Architects will design the new building.
New renderings have been published for Lot X, a proposed mixed-use development with a residential skyscraper component at 201 N Street in downtown Sacramento. If built, the 32-story structure would be the tallest residential skyscraper in the State Capitol. Beyond housing, Lot X would create an open plaza overlooked by townhomes, a five-story office building, and a seven-story garage. Southern Land Company is responsible for the application.
New plans have been revealed for a multi-structure development with a 30-story tower at Lot X, overlooking the iconic yellow Tower Bridge in Downtown Sacramento. The project, to be addressed as 210 N Street, will create a high-density hub with housing, offices, and retail across from Crocker Park in an existing urban environment.
