Path Forward for Piers 30-32, SoMa, San Francisco

The San Francisco Port Commission has paved the path for Strada Investment Group and Trammell Crow to develop Piers 30-32 in SoMa, San Francisco. The Port commission granted of right for exclusive negotiating to the joint development team and gave a four-month window for them to drop the project without a fee. The development is expected to raise $1.18 billion in private investment for construction, which excludes the cost of funding for the 150-unit affordable residential building.

Development permits have been submitted to make constructional alterations to the already approved roof deck on 975 Bryant Street in SoMa,  San Francisco. The alteration proposed is for a five-story apartment building that houses 185 residential units, a parking structure with a capacity of 135 cars, an indoor basketball court, and a retail space spanning over 5,000 square feet. Construction is already well underway for the site, and completion is expected soon.

Permits Filed for 42-Story 95 Hawthorne Street, SoMa, San Francisco

A 42-story residential tower planned for 95 Hawthorne Street has made another step towards its realization. Permits have been filed for the new building in SoMA, San Francisco, starting the process for construction to begin. A total of 412 dwelling units are planned for the building, a twenty-unit increase since its approval in the second half of 2019. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill will be responsible for the design.
