New renderings have been revealed ahead of the Planning Commission review of 7 South Linden Avenue, a seven-story residential proposal in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. The transit-adjacent project is expected to create 543 homes by the South San Francisco Caltrain Station while expanding the burgeoning urban growth of the downtown area further south. Essex Property Trust is the project developer.
Greystar will request a first-time extension today for the approved architectural review of Parcels 20 and 27 within the Tasman East Specific Plan in Santa Clara. The plans include 371 rental units at 2225 Calle De Luna and 2232 Calle Del Mundo. The request will be made during the city’s Development Review Hearing, scheduled to start at 3 PM today.
Representatives for 3700 California Street have filed a request to extend the approved entitlement for a 31-building residential redevelopment of the Sutter Health-owned medical campus in San Francisco’s Presidio Heights. The move comes after TMG and Sutter Health backed out of the redevelopment plans in May of this year. The campus was listed for sale by CBRE.
Construction is moving along for Celeste at 401 Cypress Avenue in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. Devcon Construction, the general contractor, has completed the concrete podium is now about halfway up to the eight-story pinnacle. The concrete and wood site overlooks the already-opened Bell South City apartments, built by the same developer, Sares Regis Group.
Construction has started for a five-story mixed-use addition at 100 Callan Street in Old San Leandro, Alameda County. Once complete, the structure will contain nearly two hundred homes, a Sprouts grocery store, Union Bank, and other retail space. The project is a joint venture with the Martin Group, Sansome Pacific Properties, and STARS REI.
