The proposal looks to replace a preschool with 40 apartments between Shattuck Avenue and Milvia Street, just a few blocks away from the intersection of Shattuck and University Avenue. The Berkeley School is listed as the property owner.
The Berkeley Zoning Adjustment Board is expected to review plans tonight for an eight-story mixed-use complex at 2700 Shattuck Avenue in South Berkeley, Alameda County. The proposal would add over three hundred apartment units and retail across from the Y-shaped intersection between Shattuck Avenue and Adeline Street. Hudson McDonald is responsible for the application.
The Zoning Adjustments Board in Berkeley will meet tomorrow and discuss approving a use permit for 2614 Telegraph Avenue. The proposed project at that site would require the demolition of a small residential building on the site and a small commercial building on the adjacent property. The two parcels would then be merged, creating a larger L-Shaped lot that would be accessible from both Telegraph Avenue and Carleton Street.
The City of Berkeley has published the Draft Environmental Impact Report for 2036 Bancroft Way in Downtown Berkeley, Alameda County. The project would replace eight dwelling units and a four-story office building with an eight-story apartment complex just a block away from the western edge of the UC Berkeley campus.
