The project will add nearly a hundred apartments dedicated to workforce residents. Los Altos-based non-profit developer California Supportive Housing is listed as the project sponsor.
Crews are making progress on the six-story residential development at 2902 Adeline Street in South Berkeley, Alameda County. The concrete podium has been completed, and wood-frame construction has begun to rise for the future 54-unit project. Realtex Group is the project applicant and owner.
The City of Berkeley’s Zoning Adjustments Board will meet today to discus a proposed zoning change for a project at 1740 University Avenue in Berkeley. The project would convert an existing two story commercial space into 12 residential units. Three small retail spaces will remain at the street front of the property. The change from previously approved commercial usage to mixed residential is what will be discussed for zoning purposed.
The Berkeley Zoning Adjustment Board is scheduled to review plans tomorrow evening for a seven-story apartment complex at 1899 Oxford Street in North Berkeley, Alameda County. The project aims to replace a surface parking lot and eight rent-controlled units with over two hundred apartments across from the UC Berkeley Campus. Non-profit Berkland Foundation is the property owner.
