New permits have been submitted seeking the approval of a new residential project proposed at 1031 62nd Street in North Oakland. The project proposal includes the construction of eight new prefabricated townhomes. The proposal will replace the backyard garage and garden. Nathanial Klein is responsible for the application and design.
Development permits have been filed for a new stadium for two soccer clubs at 8000 South Coliseum Way in Coliseum, East Oakland. The project would replace a surplus parking lot within the Coliseum campus and allow the two teams to start playing in the 2025 season. The permits were filed the same day the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum board unanimously approved plans for the Oakland Athletics to negotiate a lease agreement for 2025-2026 with the teams’ owner.
The development permit has been approved for a residential infill at 4127 Martin Luther King Jr. Way in Longfellow, Oakland. The plans will add fourteen apartments on a surface parking lot in a low-slung neighborhood near the densely-developed MacArthur BART Station. Bitzer Banker Development is the project applicant.

The project proposal includes the construction of a mixed-use building offering two levels of residential use. Romano Welch Architects is responsible for the designs.
Building permits have been issued for the six-story affordable housing infill at 101 East 12th Street next to Lake Merritt in Oakland. The proposal will bring nearly a hundred units to a portion of an undeveloped lot. Oakland-based East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation is the project sponsor.
