Landsea Homes has revealed plans to construct a new townhouse community at 925 South Wolfe Road in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. SDG Architects is managing and planning the design, with R3 Studios onboard as the landscape architect.
The existing complex, The Landmark, consists of seven two-story buildings. The project involves demolishing the existing 130-apartment complex and constructing 128 condominium units, a net loss of two units on site. The project’s parcel spans 5.35-acres, and the proposal also includes subdividing the lot into 19 parcels. The 13-building project is comprised of two, three, and four-bedrooms between 1,078 to 2,011 square feet of living area, with each home having an attached two-car garage.
The site location is amenable to bicyclists and pedestrians, with many restaurants and grocery stores away at walking distances. It is a five-minute walk away from the Hacienda Shopping Center and a fifteen-minute walk from two public parks. The neighborhood is frequently serviced by VTA buses 55, 56, and 52.
An estimated completion date is not yet known.
CORRECTION: Previous versions of this article incorrectly labeled SummerHill Homes as the developer. SummerHill recently sold the development to Landsea Homes.
