Landsea Homes has announced the opening of Alameda Marina, a new townhome development along the Alameda waterfront facing Oakland. The project is part of a master plan that has reshaped the 43-acre area of former low-slung buildings and surface parking with townhomes, an apartment complex, and new public open space. Landsea has launched sales, with units starting under a million dollars.

Facade Installation Underway, Sales Start for Verandah at Valley Oaks in Novato, Marin County

Recently shared images by an SFYIMBY tipster show that facade installation has started for Verandah at Valley Oaks, a residential town-home project on the outskirts of Novato in Marin County. The development will build over four acres at 7711 Redwood Boulevard, adding 80 new homes to the housing market. Landsea Homes is responsible for the development.

Orinda’s Wilder Subdivision Nearly Complete, Contra Costa County

New aerial photographs show plots almost entirely filled up after years of construction on the Wilder Subdivision, a new suburb in Orinda, Contra Costa County. It has been half a decade since the first residents moved into Wilder, a suburban project cut out of the former McCosker Ranch. At full build-out, there will be 245 single-family residences with access to communal and public amenities. Brooks Street is the master developer, via Orinda Gateway LLC, responsible for signing and planning with the city.
