Sacramento Planning Commission recently granted approvals for a multi-family residential project proposed at 1401 Arden Way, Sacramento. The project proposal includes the development of a multi-family apartment complex containing 8 buildings: five apartment buildings and three townhomes.
Debartolo Development is the project applicant and owner. Ark Architects Inc is responsible for the design concepts. Wood Rodgers Inc is the landscape architect.

The scope of the project includes the construction of 331 market-rate residential units located in five four-story buildings and three three-story townhome buildings. The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 10.2 acres. Building A will span an area of 52,312 square feet, Building B will span an area of 59,218 square feet, Building C will span an area of 76,440 sqaure feet, Building D will span an area of 46,602 sqaure feet, and Building E will span an area of 51,817 square feet.

In addition, the project proposes a community building with a pool deck. Open landscaped areas will be developed on an area of 33,990 square feet. A total of 486 parking stalls are designed on the site along with 36 EV charging stations and approximately 120 bicycle parking stalls.

The permits filed are for Building A that will rise to a height of four stories, totaling an area of 69,683 square feet in area. The four-story building will offer 55 units and 20 garages.
