A new affordable housing project might be developed at 3531 Del Paso Road in Natomas, Sacramento. The project proposal includes the development of an apartment complex featuring 120 affordable units into six buildings.

An undeveloped portion of the Westlake Village shopping center could become a new affordable apartment complex. The project site spans three parcels totaling 4.35 acres. Named Ascent Apartments, the apartment complex will bring 120 apartments into five three-story apartment buildings. Half of the units would be less than 750 square feet and the other half between 751 and 1,999 square feet in size. The sixth building will be a one-story, 3,362 square-foot community building which would house a clubhouse, laundry room, patio and pool, fitness center, and a business center.

A project application has been submitted seeking site plan and design review. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.

The project site is located on the northwest corner of Del Paso and El Centro roads, behind the strip mall.

What about the people that really need affordable housing to have a balance lifestyle. How can anyone that want that for their fellow human beings. Please stop hating on projects that help the unfortunate out. Remember this still is America land of equal opportunity for all Americans.
