A new residential project has been proposed for development at 7 Mount Lassen Drive in Lucas Valley, San Rafael. The project proposal includes the development of a new residential project bringing 29 single-family residences.
Haven Development is the project developer.
The scope of work includes the development of 29 single-family homes in the unincorporated Lucas Valley area of San Rafael. Out of the total residences, 23 will be offered as market-rate single-family homes and six will be offered as affordable single-family homes. The affordable homes will be reserved for households with incomes between approximately $84,000 and $251,950, or 50% to 150% of the area’s median income for a three-person household in Marin County.
Per a press release by Marin County website, the site was included in the County’s recently adopted Housing Element. The inclusion of a development of this nature in the County housing plan means that an environmental review has already been conducted and further review is not required.
A project application was submitted to the Marin County Community Development Agency (CDA) in October, pending review and approval. Once the application receives final CDA approval, the applicant can apply for building permits. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
