New development permits have been submitted seeking the approval of a residential project proposed for development at 740 Darina Avenue in Old North Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of a new three-story residential building offering 14 units and onsite parking.

Oak Park Properties Inc is listed as the property owner. Villa Di Ubaldo Architects is responsible for the designs.

The project site spans an area of 0.14 acres. The scope of work includes the development of a new three-story residential infill offering a total of 14 residential units. The three-story will yield a total built-up area of 14,821 square feet, of which 9,570 square feet will be residential. Each unit will feature a private balcony. Parking will be built for five vehicles and two bicycles.

Renderings reveal a facade designed in dark wood siding framed by green pilasters, decorative metal awnings, stone veneer at the ground level, and coach lighting features.

Construction is expected to cost around $1.5 million. A project application has been submitted, awaiting site plan and design review. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.

  1. Now that area needs some infusion of new housing. Old Old North Sac is a reasonably quiet area that can use a wide range of new housing.
