A larger area of land located at 132 Silver Eagle Road is to undergo permitting and design review for the construction of 16 new single-family homes. The development will subdivide a currently vacant area of land in the Del Paso Heights review district of Sacramento. The designs and development are brought by Riverland Homes, Inc.

The submitted designs contain three different plans, along with layouts consistent with the previously approved dimensions for lot size and usage. The buildings will range from one to two stories, furnished with an internal garage. Each home will have space for both front and rear gardens.

Each of the plans will utilize two different façade designs, allowing for variability between the buildings. External details will include painted stucco with wood and stone elements. All six exteriors will use a portico style entryway supported by either wood beams or stucco pillars. Likewise, all designs will use a similar low-peak roof design.

    Ugh. More YIMBY sprawl.

    • This is what you get when you don’t densify historic districts.

In your view, show where to add people that don’t break your terms of logic. You already have a winning streak against doing precisely that in SF.

What are you talking about? There are plenty of places in San Francisco and other Bay Area communities to build up without demolishing the tiny percentage of our cities that are designated historic districts. I believe in densifying our region. What I don’t believe in is throwing the baby out with the bath water and giving Big Development carte blanche, which is what your boy Scotty W. is doing.

  2. That’s actually infill in West Del Paso Heights. There’s quite a bit of home building going on out there.
