Preliminary permits have been filed for an affordable housing project at 1900 Club Center Drive in North Natomas, Sacramento. The proposal would add an estimated 140 units to a large corner parcel in the Natomas Parks neighborhood on the northern outskirts of the capital city. EAH Housing is responsible for the application.
LPAS Architects is responsible for the design, though proper renderings have yet to be shared. According to the project website, the development team plans to “solicit input from the current neighboring residents, community-based organizations, businesses, and schools to design the space for these types of uses.”
Conceptual illustrations show four three-story apartment buildings and a 3,700-square-foot community building surrounded by surface parking, a playground, and landscaping. The development will provide housing for families, seniors, and people with disabilities. Roughly a quarter of all apartments will be designed for accessibility. Unit sizes are expected to range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom.

The 3.5-acre property is located at the corner of Club Center Drive and Danbrook Drive. Future residents will live in the heart of the neighborhood, across from a preschool, fire station, shopping center, and other apartments. The estimated cost and timeline for construction have not yet been shared.
