The San Jose Planning Commission is expected to review plans tonight for a residential infill at 1038 McKendrie Street in Central San Jose, Santa Clara County. The project will add a dozen condominiums to a vacant lot close to I-880. MCM Diversified is responsible for the application as the property owner.
Construction is estimated to add 12 condominium units across two structures. Further information about unit sizes, parking, and amenities has not been shared. Studio Current is listed as the project architect, though illustrations have not yet been shared by the city or the development team.
The 0.46-acre property on a block that is bound by McKendrie Street, Myrtle Street, The Alameda, and West Hedding Street. Future residents will be in The Alameda, an historic district in Central San Jose.
MCM Diversified is a San Jose-based real estate management company responsible for over 2.5 million square feet of offices, medical, retail, and industrial space. The estimated cost and timeline for construction have not yet been shared.
