The 70-foot-tall structure is expected to yield around 150,540 square feet, including 108 apartments alongside parking for 92 cars and 110 bicycles. Apartment sizes will vary, with two studios, 49 one-bedrooms, 29 two-bedrooms, and 28 three-bedrooms.
The residences will be deed-restricted as affordable to households earning between 30% to 60% of the area’s median income. Supportive housing services will be geared towards families transitioning out of homelessness, individuals with developmental disabilities, and Section 8 project-based vouchers. La Bella is the fourth affordable housing project built by Alta Housing in Mountain View.
Van Meter Williams Pollack is responsible for the design. The complex features a two-story podium garage, a third-floor courtyard, and a solar panel-ready rooftop. The exterior will be clad with fiber cement panels, metal siding, and board-formed concrete.

The 1.04-acre property is located along Terra Bella Avenue between Linda Vista Avenue and San Rafael Avenue, close to 101 and two blocks from the North Shoreline Boulevard. A portion of the site was donated to Alta Housing by Public Storage. Public Storage is expected to add two new storage structures on its remaining property.
