Renderings have been revealed alongside the formal application for a residential proposal at 3350 West Bayshore Road in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County. The project would replace an office building with over two hundred apartments and 25 townhouses. San Francisco-based Strada Investment Group is the project sponsor.

The roughly 88-foot-tall structure is expected to yield around 368,000 square feet, including 208,010 square feet of housing, 104,800 square feet for the podium garage, and 11,760 square feet of shared amenities. Apartment sizes will vary, with 60 studios, 112 one-bedrooms, and 72 two-bedrooms. Of the 269 units, 14 will be deed-restricted as affordable to very low-income households. There will be 244 rental apartments and 25 for-sale townhouse-style units.
The applicant is seeking a streamlined approval process and increasing residential capacity above base zoning with Senate Bill 330 and the State Density Bonus law.

BDE Architecture will design the apartment complex, and SDG Architects will design the townhouses. The Guzzardo Partnership is the landscape architect. The exteriors will be clad in cement plaster, board-and-batten siding, brick veneer, metal panels, and faux wood panels.
Strada purchased the property from Alexandria Real Estate Equities in December 2025 for $29 million. Demolition is expected for the roughly 60,000-square-foot life sciences building. During the transaction, the structure was around three-quarters occupied by a couple of companies, including Exai Bio and Clariant Corporation.

The 4.08-acre property is located along Bayshore Road on the western side of US 101. Future residents will find themselves between the freeway and a sprawling residential neighborhood, with the closest retail spaces nearly half an hour away on foot, or seven minutes by bicycle.
The estimated cost and timeline for construction have not yet been shared.
