South City To Consider Expanded Plans for Gateway of Pacific Phase Four

The South San Francisco planning commission will review expanded plans for Gateway of Pacific phase four tonight. The three-structure phase, to be addressed as 900 Gateway Boulevard, will be the penultimate portion of a development that has already had a significant contribution to the South City East Side skyline in the north of San Mateo County. The developer, BioMed Realty, has proposed to increase the North Building from five to nine stories tall.

Construction Wrapped Up for Gateway of Pacific Phase Two and Three in East Side, South San Francisco

Construction is wrapping up for the third of five phases on Gateway of Pacific in South San Francisco, San Mateo County. The project aims to complete with 2.2 million square feet in a laboratory and office campus across 31.5 acres of the city’s office-dominated East Side neighborhood. Development plans have been approved for constructing the BioMed Emeryville Center of Innovation at 5300 Chiron Way, Emeryville. The project proposal includes the demolition of two existing buildings and surface parking and the construction of four new multi-tenant research and development buildings as a part of the implementation of the Emeryville Life Sciences Center Planned Unit Development (PUD), also referred to as The Chiron.
